Job Purpose:

Assisting the Compliance Director to ensure the accreditations and compliance management systems for Amtivo remain effective.

Accountabilities:

Planning

  • Work closely with the Compliance Director to ensure that the compliance team resources are trained sufficiently to ensure the service provision is not affected ensuring any new schemes/standards are also taken into account.
  • Support the Compliance Director to maintain appropriate technical and professional training and development plans for all auditors. Producing supporting technical guidance material for compliance team members, auditors and the Head Office Departments.
  • Supporting the development of new accreditation scopes and certification schemes including the preparation of new technical materials, training and processing of UKAS applications.
  • Assisting in the maintenance of the quality management system documentation.
  • Pro-actively develop and maintain strong communication channels with all relevant internal departments.

Resourcing

  • Deputising for the Compliance Director in their absence.
  • Ensuring the compliance team has sufficient competent resources to provide a robust compliance management system and extremely slick contract reviews, audit report decisions, client certificate updates and auditor recruitment.

Delivering

  • Maintain constant vigilance of emerging compliance management system risks and opportunities particularly with regards changing accreditation body requirements and implementation of changes to product/service offerings by BAB.

Reporting

  • Provide appropriate reports and performance statistics on the key compliance management system processes as directed by the Compliance Director.

Success criteria:

  • AMTIVO is ahead of the game with regards to being able to provide certification services demanded by the customers in its target markets.
  • Best in class supporting materials, resources and guidance for all auditors who deliver audits on behalf of AMTIVO.
  • Effective and positive communication with all internal interested parties on compliance process changes.

Context:

The Senior Compliance Technical Executive is primarily accountable for:

  • Assisting the Compliance Director to ensure the company has effective processes and procedures in place to fulfil its obligations to UKAS Accreditations.
  • The execution of effective and efficient review, audit report decisions and auditor competency management processes.
