Why do certification requirements matter to my business? 

Certification can directly affect whether an organisation is able to compete for a tender where it forms part of the requirements. 

For example, Irish procurement rules allow contracting authorities to request certification and other recognised evidence, and standards including ISO 13485 and ISO/IEC 27001 are already appearing in Irish public-sector procurement in different ways. 

The risk is discovering a requirement too late. If a tender asks for certification, or evidence your organisation cannot provide, there may not be enough time to address the gap before the submission deadline.
