Amtivo Group<\/b><\/a> is delighted to announce the acquisition of Dublin-based European Quality Assurance (Ire) Ltd. (EQA) in a deal that will see EQA\u2019s highly respected team and strong product offering join Amtivo\u2019s growing portfolio of international testing, inspection, and certification businesses, whilst securing its position as one of the most prominent certification bodies in the Republic of Ireland.<\/p>\r\n

Privately owned, EQA<\/b> is a well-respected certification body, accredited by INAB and approved by the Private Security Authority, offering independent certification services across ISO management systems and product certification in the security industry for more than 28 years. It is also approved by the Society of the Irish Motor Industry.<\/p>\r\n

David Daly, co-founder of EQA, commented on the deal \u201cWe are delighted that EQA has joined Amtivo Group\u2019s fast-growing international network of businesses and it is a testament to all that the EQA team has achieved. As part of a much larger organisation EQA\u2019s staff and auditors will be able to benefit from the opportunities that will arise from significant investments in technology and staff development, as well as the commercial opportunities that will come from its substantial international presence.\u201d<\/p>\r\n

This acquisition is the group\u2019s second of 2023 and its 17th since it was formed in 2018, under CEO, Mike Tims. Commenting on the latest deal, Mike said \u201cThe acquisition of EQA enables us to strengthen our foothold in the Republic of Ireland and to provide the group with valuable expertise, highly-regarded accreditations, and an established client base. It is also a natural complement to our existing Dublin-based brand, Certification Europe. The combined strengths of the two brands will bring significant benefits to the wider business and enable us to provide clients from both companies with a larger range of products and services, supported by a tech-enabled team.\u201d<\/p>\r\n
