It\u2019s also vital to our clients as ISO certificates simply aren\u2019t recognised in many tenders without the UKAS \u2018crown and tick\u2019 logo.<\/p>\r\n<p>Whilst UKAS isn\u2019t a regulator, it is the National Accreditation Body and the only one recognised by Government. UKAS brings confidence and credibility; it is a name recognised worldwide.<\/p>\r\n<p>Each year, UKAS conduct both witnessed assessments and head office assessments. This year\u2019s assessment was a notable one as it was a thorough Recertification Audit, which only happens every 4 years. It was a full on 3 days\u2019 worth of auditing covering how we audit to <a href=\"\/uk\/standards\/iso-9001\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ISO 9001<\/a>, <a href=\"\/uk\/standards\/iso-14001\/certification\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ISO 14001<\/a>, <a href=\"\/uk\/standards\/iso-27001\/certification\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ISO 27001<\/a> and <a href=\"\/uk\/standards\/ssip\/insights\/guide-to-ssip\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">OHSAS 18001<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n<h4>We\u2019re happy to announce we passed with flying colours.<\/h4>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Here at BAB, we&#8217;re accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS).
