Established collaboratively by the\u00a0International Accreditation Forum<\/a>\u00a0(IAF) and the\u00a0International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation<\/a>\u00a0(ILAC), World Accreditation Day (#WAD2023) takes place globally on the 9th<\/sup>\u00a0June each year with the theme for 2023 being around supporting the future of global trade.<\/p>\r\n

What is accreditation? <\/strong><\/h3>\r\n

Accreditation is a formal process in which an external authority or organization assesses and certifies that an individual, institution, program, or service meets specific standards or criteria. It provides independent validation that the accredited entity has achieved a certain level of quality, competence, or compliance with established guidelines. It is often used across a multitude of sectors with ISO and AS standards being recognized globally whilst also applying across almost all businesses.<\/p>\r\n
