Amtivo Group has announced the signing of an agreement with EMB Group to acquire its ACM Certification Limited and Ascentor Ltd brands in a deal that will add further to the group’s international presence and increases the range of services it can offer to its growing client base.
The acquisition on 26th July 2021 of ACM Certification (ACM-CCAS Limited, also known as ACM 2022 LIMITED) gives Amtivo a scaled international UKAS certification platform with a substantial operation in China and established businesses in 18 other markets across Asia, the Middle East and Europe. It will also strengthen Amtivo’s UK certification offering, notably with the addition of security industry certifications.
With Ascentor (Ascentor Cyber Limited) joining the group (also on 26th July 2021), Amtivo also gains a “military-grade” cyber security consulting practice with Intellectual Property that can be used to build upon its range of products for small and medium-sized companies.

UK-based clients of ACM Certification will now be serviced by Amtivo’s UK-based brand, British Assessment Bureau. US and Canada-based clients will now be serviced by Amtivo’s US-based brand, Orion Registrar, Inc.
