The Opportunity
We’re looking for an Environmental Consultant to join our Inspections Service division. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team, delivering meaningful environmental and social impact across a diverse range of client projects.
You’ll play a key role in delivering inspections, compliance assessments, and technical environmental work for public sector and private sector clients.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver a wide range of environmental projects for new and existing clients
- Conduct inspections and compliance assessments across waste, water, circular economy, and energy-related regulations
- Review and interpret legislation, policy documents, and technical literature
- Produce high-quality project outputs, including reports, specifications, and technical documentation
- Provide technical advice, training, and support to key clients
- Engage with stakeholders to agree on corrective actions and follow-up requirements
- Prepare environmental incident investigation reports and case files
- Issue environmental enforcement reports and letters on behalf of clients
- Support multiannual contracts and wider environmental programmes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant environmental legislation
- Manage multiple projects with shifting priorities and deadlines
What You’ll Bring
- NFQ Level 8 qualification in a relevant environmental discipline
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the environmental or waste sector
- Knowledge of EU and national waste legislation and policy
- Experience in inspections/audits within environmental or business sectors
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyse data, interpret legislation, and propose solutions
- Experience managing client relationships and supporting growth opportunities
- Full clean driving licence (desired)
