Amtivo Expands Presence in West Coast of Ireland with Acquisition of BQAI
Amtivo Group is delighted to share news of its acquisition of BQAI, an established Irish certification body headquartered in Galway. This strategic acquisition expands Amtivo’s footprint in the Irish market, particularly in the West, and enhances Amtivo’s service offering to both SMEs and multinational organisations.
Founded by Declan O’Connor, BQAI has built a reputation for excellence in information security and medical device certification, with extensive expertise in ISO 27001 and ISO 13485 in both the Irish and UK markets. Declan will continue to support the business in an auditing capacity, ensuring continuity and deep sectoral insight for BQAI’s clients.
This acquisition brings INAB accreditation for ISO 13485 into Amtivo’s portfolio in Ireland, complementing an already broad range of accredited services including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001. In addition, BQAI’s clients will now benefit from Amtivo’s comprehensive suite of training courses, developed through years of experience and client success.
