Channel Development Lead

  • Reports To: Head of Channel Management
  • Business Unit: Sales
  • Location: Eastern U.S. preferred – Grand Rapids, MI or Remote
  • Role Type: Permanent Full time
  • Salary: $90,000 + benefits (dependent on experience)

About the role

Are you a relationship-driven business development professional who enjoys building partnerships, opening doors and creating new commercial opportunities? Amtivo USA is looking for a Channel Development Lead to help grow our partner network across the U.S., with a particular focus on the Eastern U.S.

Reporting to the Head of Channel Management, you will identify, develop and activate new partnerships with management system consultants, software and technology providers, and other organisations that can generate qualified certification opportunities for Amtivo.

This is a field-focused role for someone who enjoys being out in the market: meeting partners, attending industry events, networking and turning strong relationships into measurable sales pipeline.

What you’ll be doing

You will play a key part in expanding Amtivo’s channel network and increasing partner-sourced opportunities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and developing new relationships with management system consultants, software providers, technology companies and other potential referral partners.
  • Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospective partners across your territory.
  • Prospecting through direct outreach, referrals, networking, industry events and in-person meetings.
  • Introducing prospective partners to Amtivo’s certification capabilities, partner programmes and referral opportunities.
  • Onboarding and activating new partners in collaboration with the Head of Channel Management.
  • Owning and growing a portfolio of developing partners, keeping relationships active and increasing the opportunities they generate.
  • Driving qualified partner-sourced opportunities into the Amtivo sales pipeline and supporting fast follow-up with the sales team.
  • Representing Amtivo in the field at consultant meetings, software events, association meetings, conferences and other networking opportunities.
  • Maintaining accurate partner, referral and opportunity activity within Amtivo’s CRM.
  • Sharing market feedback, including new partnership opportunities, competitor activity and partner needs.

About you

  • 3–7 years’ experience in channel sales, partner development, business development, field sales or a similar role.
  • Strong prospecting skills and the ability to turn new relationships into qualified sales opportunities.
  • Experience in ISO certification, management system consulting, compliance/GRC software, testing, auditing or a related B2B industry would be preferred.
  • Existing relationships with management system consultants, software providers, quality professionals or compliance professionals would be a strong advantage.
  • Comfortable being in the market: meeting partners, attending events, networking and developing new relationships.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisation skills and confidence using CRM systems to manage activity and opportunities.
  • Motivated by targets, measurable results and contributing directly to business growth.
  • Based in, or able to support, the Central or Eastern U.S., with willingness to travel across the territory and nationally when required.

What success looks like

Success in this role will be measured by the growth, quality and commercial impact of Amtivo’s partner network, including:

  • The number and value of qualified partner-sourced opportunities created.
  • New partners identified, developed and activated.
  • Growth and activity within your assigned partner portfolio.
  • Reactivation and development of existing partners.
  • Partner meetings, field activity and contribution to partner-sourced revenue.
