About the role:

We’re looking for an Activ Support & QA Engineer to join our growing team at Amtivo, playing a pivotal role in the ongoing success of our flagship SaaS platform, Activ. If you thrive on solving real-world problems for clients and enjoy ensuring software works beautifully behind the scenes, this hybrid role spanning technical support and quality assurance could be the perfect fit.

You’ll be the first point of contact for all things Activ – handling support tickets, helping users get the most from the platform, and testing new features before they go live. Working closely with our developers, product teams, and clients, you’ll bring both a customer-first mindset and a detail-driven approach to maintaining high standards.

 

What you’ll be doing:

Customer & System Support

  • Be the go-to expert for client and internal Activ support queries
  • Manage support tickets through to resolution, escalating where needed
  • Assist with system configuration and ongoing client setup
  • Keep records clear, up-to-date, and actionable

Software Quality Assurance

  • Carry out structured QA testing for all Activ releases and updates
  • Use Playwright to automate testing and identify bugs and regressions
  • Work alongside our developers to test fixes and validate improvements
  • Help refine QA practices and increase testing efficiency

Tools & Documentation

  • Log and track issues through Jira, working within sprint cycles
  • Contribute to GitHub-based review processes where relevant
  • Keep internal documentation clear, current, and useful

 

What success looks like:

  • Quick and effective support ticket resolution
  • High-quality releases with minimal post-launch issues
  • Deep knowledge of Activ and how our clients use it
  • A proactive approach to improving both user experience and testing processes

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Essential: Previous experience supporting users of the Activ platform is essential.
  • Familiarity with Playwright, Jira, and GitHub in a QA or testing context
  • A good grasp of web technologies; basic coding knowledge is a plus
  • Strong organisation, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and a team-first attitude
  • A mindset for learning, improving, and delivering value
