Role: People Business Partner – Ireland
Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid, with regular travel to key Irish sites)

About the Role

As People Business Partner – Ireland, you’ll act as a trusted adviser to the Ireland leadership team, ensuring our people practices enable high performance, sustainable growth, and strong alignment with Group values. You’ll combine strategic partnership with handson operational leadership, supporting a diverse workforce across multiple locations and working arrangements, including employees and contractors.

This role sits within the wider Group People function and plays a key part in embedding consistent, scalable, and compliant people practices across the Irish business.

 

Key Responsibilities

Culture, leadership & engagement

  • Champion Amtivo’s Group Values and foster an inclusive, engaged, highperforming culture.
  • Coach and challenge people managers to lead effectively, supporting performance, capability, and engagement.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance the employee experience across officebased, hybrid, and remote teams.

People operations & workforce enablement

  • Lead workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning aligned to business priorities.
  • Oversee people operations across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring consistency, fairness, and scalability.
  • Use data and insight to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, translating these into practical action.
  • Support effective engagement and oversight of contractor populations.

Policy, employee relations & compliance 

  • Localise and implement Group policies in line with Irish employment legislation.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters including performance, absence, disciplinary, and grievance.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and governance requirements across all workforce arrangements.

Strategic partnership 

  • Work closely with the Ireland leadership team to anticipate people risks and enable the delivery of business objectives.
  • Provide insight and challenge using workforce data, organisational understanding, and external market awareness.
  • Act as a trusted sounding board to leaders, supporting strong decisionmaking and people management capability.

CrossFunctional & group collaboration 

  • Align local practices with Group frameworks, systems, and standards.
  • Support people integration following acquisitions, ensuring smooth adoption of Group processes and culture.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Groupwide people practices.

Data, payroll & reporting 

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of people data and support timely, compliant payroll processes.
  • Produce clear people insights and reporting to support leadership decisionmaking.

Experience & Qualifications 

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or People Partner within Ireland.
  • Strong working knowledge of Irish employment legislation and ER best practice.
  • Experience supporting multisite or distributed workforces, including contractor environments.
  • Relevant thirdlevel qualification in HR, employment law, or related discipline; CIPD (or equivalent) desirable.
