Our vision is to inspire and enable organisations globally to reach their true potential, by making governance, compliance and inspection a truly positive and valuable experience. Our purpose is to support our clients’ success by adopting a partnership approach, leveraging our sector-leading expertise, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised individual to drive the successful delivery of client communications across the business.
As our Communications Manager, you’ll be responsible for three key areas: guiding acquired clients through communications associated with acquisitions and integrations; keeping existing clients informed of important service information, operational changes and other key updates that affect them; and managing the templates, documentation and tools our teams rely on day-to-day.
This role combines stakeholder management, project delivery and content creation to ensure communications initiatives are delivered on time, and to a high standard. Working with colleagues across multiple functions, you will take ownership of communications projects from initial brief through to execution, coordinating stakeholders and creating clear, compelling content through a variety of channels, including HubSpot.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple priorities and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead communication projects from initiation through to successful completion.
- Build and manage strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
- Develop project plans, timelines and communication schedules, ensuring delivery against deadlines.
- Own communications for each acquisition and integration, ensuring acquired clients experience a smooth transition.
- Act as the central point of coordination for communication-related projects.
- Create, design, edit and proofread engaging client communications and documents.
- Build and send email communications through HubSpot.
- Coordinate stakeholder input and approval processes.
- Track project progress, identify risks and proactively drive solutions.
- Own business templates and reference documents, keeping them accurate and up to date.
- Manage the marketing inbox, triaging and routing enquiries promptly.
- Develop tools, including self-service and AI-enabled solutions, that save teams time.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, recommending enhancements to communication processes and delivery.
- Ensure communications are aligned with company branding and tone of voice and meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Measure and report on communication effectiveness where appropriate.
About You
You are a confident communicator with strong project management experience and an ability to build credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
You will bring:
- Proven stakeholder management experience.
- Communications or marketing experience within a B2B organisation.
- Strong end-to-end project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time.
- Excellent written communication and copywriting abilities.
- Hands-on experience using HubSpot for email communications and campaigns.
- Practical design skills to create professional, on-brand documents.
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- A proactive approach, taking ownership and driving actions through to completion.
- Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced business environment.
Desirable:
- Exposure to change, transformation or integration projects.
- Knowledge of customer communication journeys and campaign planning.
- An interest in using AI and self-service tools to improve how teams work.
What Success Looks Like
- Communication projects are consistently delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Stakeholders view you as a trusted and reliable business partner.
- Clients are well informed, with clear, timely communications that reduce queries.
- Acquired clients move through each integration smoothly.
- Templates, documentation and tools are current, trusted and save teams time.
