If you see a training course you want to do but the dates don’t suit you or there are no places available, please contact us and we will do our best to find a solution.

Can I book several people on a course?

Please contact us if you want to book more than one person on a course, as we run pricing promotions.
How do I pay for training?

Training can be paid for online, or it can be invoiced or by bank transfer. All training must be paid in advance.
Can you tailor training to my needs?

Amtivo’s training courses are specifically designed by our panel of expert trainers to match the requirements of our clients in relation to specified ISO standard(s). Our training programmes cover all aspects of ISO implementation and auditing. Do I get a certificate for training?

Yes, all participants will receive a certificate on passing the course.

How do I book ISO training?

You can make a booking online, or by emailing [email protected].
 
If you wish to make an online booking, please click ‘Buy Now’ on the page of the course you wish to attend. This will bring you to a page where you can select which date you wish to complete the training and make payment. Alternatively, the course can be paid via invoice or by bank transfer.

Do you offer ISO training?

Yes, we offer comprehensive ISO training courses designed to enhance your understanding and ability to manage an effective management system. Whether you’re in the initial stages of implementation or already managing daily operations, our courses provide valuable insights and skills.

Can an organisation refuse certification?

Yes, if Amtivo does not hold the accreditation or the service offering desired, you may not be able to proceed with an application. However, we will work with you to determine if this is possible in the future or within the Amtivo group.

How can I verify if an ISO certificate has been issued by Amtivo?

To verify an ISO certificate, please send the details noted below in an email to [email protected]

What type of companies get certified?

We certify various organisations from different industry sectors, including health, finance, information security, construction, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and the public sector.

Can Amtivo help with implementing an ISO management system?

No, as an accredited certification body, Amtivo must remain independent from the implementation of ISO management systems to avoid any conflict of interest. However, there are many ISO consultants in Ireland and the UK who can assist your company in building and implementing an ISO system.

Is Amtivo an accredited certification body?

Yes, Amtivo is accredited under INAB (Irish Nation Accreditation Board).
Does an ISO standard have to apply to all departments within a company?

No, an ISO standard does not have to apply to all departments. When pursuing certification, you and your team will define the Scope of certification. This Scope outlines which parts of the company and its activities will be certified. It can cover the entire company, specific sections, or particular locations.

How long is an ISO certificate valid and are there audits during that time?

ISO certification lasts three years and is subject to mandatory audits to ensure that you remain compliant. After the three years, to continue with your certification you will be required to do a recertification audit.

How long does an ISO certification audit take?

An ISO certification audit is split into two stages with an 8 – 12week gap in between.
  • Stage One is a minimum of 1 – 2 days
  • Stage Two is a minimum of 2 – 3 days
The audit time depends on which standard is being audited and the Scope of certification.

How much does Cyber Essentials certification cost?

There are two types of Cyber Essentials certification:

  • Cyber Essentials
  • Cyber Essentials Plus
The cost for Cyber Essentials cost is dependent on the number of employees within a business:
  • Up to 49 employees €759.00 +VAT
  • 50 – 249 employees €859 +VAT
  • 250+ employees €959 +VAT

What does Cyber Essentials cover?

Cyber Essentials provides guidance regarding the following areas of cyber security:

Boundary Firewalls and Internet Gateways:
Preventing intrusions with well-configured firewalls and internet gateways that block access to harmful websites and services.
 
Secure Configuration:
Ensuring hardware and software are set up securely by removing unused software, changing default passwords, and minimising vulnerabilities.
 
Access Control:
Restricting system access to trusted users with individual usernames and strong passwords. Use administrator accounts only when necessary.
 
Malware Protection:
Using anti-virus or anti-malware software to regularly scan and monitor your network. Keep these tools updated and respond to alerts.
 
Patch Management and Software Updates:
Regularly updating and patching software to fix security vulnerabilities and maintain optimal performance. Set software to update automatically when possible.

Cyber Essentials is suitable for any organisation needing a basic level of security certification to demonstrate essential information security controls. It is also mandatory for businesses seeking UK government contracts, as without this certification, they are ineligible to bid for such contracts.

Do Cyber Essentials certificates have an expiry date?

Yes, a Cyber Essentials certificate is valid for 12 months. Given the constantly evolving digital landscape, it should be renewed annually to maintain up-to-date security standards

What is accreditation and how is Amtivo accredited?

It provides assurance that the accredited entity operates in accordance with international norms and is capable of delivering reliable and credible services.
 
Amtivo is accredited by the Irish National Accreditation Board (INAB).

How many user licences will I require for your ISO management system software?

We recommend that you have a licence for anybody who needs to carry out actions, or read documents or processes within your management system.

Will I need to update the ISO management software?

No, all software updates are carried out by us. However, we will notify the system administrators of any significant updates.
How do I access my ISO management system software account?

Our online software is accessed through any web browser. It does not require any local installations.
