ISO 27001:2022 Transition Training

ISO 27001:2013 was updated by ISO and released in October 2022. As a result of this update, we’re running a number of ISO 27001:2022 one-day Transition Courses to support ISMS Managers and information security professionals in their knowledge and understanding of the critical differences between ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and ISO/IEC 27001:2022, the transitioning requirements, and potential approaches to efficient and effective transition implementation. All training materials are professionally designed by the trainers to enable attendees to get the greatest benefit possible from our courses.

Course Content

  • Workshop introduction and context.
  • ISO/IEC 27001:2013 versus ISO/IEC 27001:2022 – the good, the not so good and the bits that could have been better (perhaps)!
  • Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs – your certification body!)
  • Requirements for transitioning from ISO/IEC 27001:2013 to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (requirements and timelines) within your organisation.
  • Planning, implementing and managing the transition from an existing ISO/IEC 27001:2013-conformant ISMS (certified or uncertified) to an ISO/IEC 27001:2022-conformant ISMS.
  • Course evaluation and close.

Learning Outcomes

  • Understand the key differences between ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and ISO/IEC 27001:2022.
  • Understand Conformity Assessment Bodies (CAB) ISO/IEC 27001:2013 to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 transitioning requirements.
  • Understand how best to plan, implement and manage a transition project to migrate an existing ISO/IEC 27001:2013-conformant ISMS (certified or uncertified) to an ISO/IEC 27001:2022-conformant ISMS.
