From COP 119 to BS 10119:2026

BS 10119:2026 is the British Standard for the provision of labour to the security and events sectors. It replaces COP 119 as the standard we certify labour providers against. 

It now forms the basis of all certification in this area – COP 119 closed to new applicants on 1st September 2026 and will be fully withdrawn on 30th September 2027, with existing clients moving across during the transition window. 

Certification to BS 10119:2026 through Amtivo is currently unaccredited and offered in the UK only. Certificates will not display an accreditation mark and must not be represented as accredited certification. 

Already Certified to COP 119?

A transition window is open from 1st September 2026 until COP 119’s withdrawal on 30th September 2027. In most cases the change can be handled within your existing audit programme, so there’s no need to act on day one – but you’ll need to notify us in writing, and the earlier you do, the more smoothly we can plan it.
